Free 15-minute Initial Consultation
Your initial consultation is free. Keep in mind that the consultation doesn’t necessarily involve an in-depth legal analysis of your case. However, a benefit of our free consultation is that you get a chance to get a quick overview of your case and learn about your legal options. We are happy to talk to you.
Here is typically what we talk about during your consultation:
The Oklahoma Court System: How familiar you are with the criminal justice system? Answering this helps us to better explain what happens next as the case progresses – the “next steps.”
The circumstances concerning your arrest/charge, such as:
- Date, time and place of arrest.
- The arresting agency, such as local police department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, tribal police department, or other law enforcement agency.
- Whether you made any statements to officers. If so, were you read your rights?
- Whether you consented to a search or officers executed a search warrant.
- Whether you submitted to a blood or breath test.
- Any potential witnesses for or against you.
- Whether you or the alleged victim is Native American.
A Defense Strategy Plan
- Possible ways to get charges dismissed or reduced to a less severe charge.
- Whether you want to fight the charges with a trial, or try to get the best deal you can under the circumstances.
- A general plan for fighting the charges if you want to go to trial.
